T minus

The COUNTDOWN has BEGUN!!! As of the end of this week the countdown is as follows:
6 WEEKS LEFT OF SCHOOL!!!!
this translates to:

4.5 weeks left of classes
which in turn translates to:

23 Monday through Friday classes left (yay for German 300)
9 Tuesday and Thursday classes left
10 Monday and Wednesday classes left

PLUS

1.5 weeks of finals (I only have two finals, so that should be ok.)

and then, it's on to commencement (yes, I'm being forced to play in that AGAIN this semester. Yay for 2 hours of Pomp and Circumstance. But on the plus side I get the following: to eat a 'yummy' continental breakfast (that's juice and donuts, people), wear concert black all day (that's including heels and nylons), sit through TWO virtually identical ceremonies, have tortillas thrown at me (last year they almost got one in my horn), AND $50. wow, what a wonderful day THAT will be.)

then, two days after commencement, I fly to Philadelphia to see my sister, her husband and new baby. Yay! And then, it's a mere week before we take a two-day trip to Alabama to see another sister and her husband AND the third sister and her kids will join us there too. IT'S ALL SO EXCITING. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!! Ok, breathe.

and then, we drive back to Philadelphia and another week later (June 6th, to be precise. yes, that's 6/6/06. hmmm.....good thing I'm not superstitious) I FLY TO GERMANY!!!

Wow. I really have to stop thinking/typing about this now. If I get too excited, the anticipation will kill me. and it won't be any fun in Germany if I'm dead. sigh. back to the real world.
